PCIDA Economic Development Market Analysis
The PCIDA Board was interested in data on the Village that could be used to guide the Board as well as be a valuable resource tool for others interested in the Village to help inform policy and projects.
This kind of data is not easily available in broadly published reports, such as those issued by the Census Bureau, which tend to be less granular and cover larger areas.
In 2023 the PCIDA published an RFP for such services and awarded the scope of work to AECOM, a global infrastructure consulting and engineering firm. Their report was published in March 2024.
Shortly thereafter the PCIDA Board retained AECOM to draw up development strategies from the data that could be pursued by the PCIDA and other Boards and organizations interested in the Village. That process is ongoing and should be published early in 2025.
